My best friend and I tried this for her birthday lunch. It was AMAZING!! The portions were very generous. The gyro meat was phenomenal. I was very impressed. My favorite Greek restaurant is in Tarpon Springs Florida. I was apprehensive that this would compare to it since it’s in a small town in Kentucky. If you get the chance take the trip. Don’t forget the dessert. We had the lemoncillo marscapone cake . Yum is the only word for it. The best part of the whole experience was the service. There was one person taking the orders and one person cooking the food. They were on top of everything. Will definitely return for future visits.

Worth the drive! Locally owned and operated. Jimmy is very professional & friendly. The open concept kitchen is super clean & the dining is cozy & beautiful. I admit I am a Greek / Mediterranean addict & this place did not disappoint. We started off with the platter Sampler. The grape leaves were moist and delicious, the triopetkia was crunchy & cheesy but the large slice of feta covered in spices & oil was my favorite. Do yourself a favor & order extra hummus & Taziki sauce for later, it's great. The mousaka was some if the best but that gyro will always be an addition to my order. The Greek salad was fresh & beautiful and the tiramisu & nut roll topped our dinner off. Worth the drive from where ever you are. Oh, the Spanakopita was cooked perfectly, toasted yet soft and gooey with that distinct dill flavor that sets it apart.

We were craving some Mediterranean food and more specifically Gyro's and when I looked up where we could find one Aparthenon is what become an option. Went in on a late Saturday afternoon and was the only group in the restaurant. The owner greeted us and gave us a few menus but as we walked in I had noticed a sign for a Lunch Special (pictured) for 11.99 that included a Gyro, Fries and a drink. There were a few options but that is the option we decided on but you can look at the sign for some of the other choices. Meal came out pretty quickly and I was surprised to see the fries are natural cut french fries and they prepared perfectly plus the Gyro's were extra stuffed so no shortage of a meal and both tasted Fantastic! I topped it off with a canned Ale8. I forgot to mention we also grabbed the Beer Cheese and Pita chips as an appetizer and my daughter finished with a piece of Baklava. I will end it with this, the restaurant is about 1 1/2 years old and was an excellent choice for us today.

One of the best Greek restaurants I’ve visited! Wasn’t expecting this level of authenticity and great flavors in a small town like Danville. Ordered: Falafel, Lemon Pepper Grilled Chicken with a Greek salad and a side order of Chicken skewers. I will absolutely be coming back whenever I get a chance!

Today is the second day they were open and we couldn't wait to try it! We ordered the Greek nachos, Greek fries, gyro, and pork souvlaki. The Greek nachos came piled high with gyro meat, vegetables, and two dipping sauces of choice (we chose tzatziki and feisty feta) 9/10 flavor town! The Greek fries were seasoned well and had feta crumbles on top! The pork souvlaki was marinated beautifully and grilled perfectly and paired perfectly with the rice 9/10 flavor town! Now the show off dish,... The gyro... STUFFED with gyro meat that tastes as if it were seasoned by the Greek gods themselves! I will now literally drive out of my way JUST for this alone! Absolute flavor beast 11/10! I absolutely recommend everyone to try and support this local business!
